MY WLA STORY + WHY I WANT TO PAY IT FORWARD
After attending Wildlife Leadership Academy, I feel like I’ve gained so much confidence and insight to go out and make a difference in the world! The information and skills I learned at this week-long camp changed my life. I loved being able to connect with so many like minded people about conservation. Meeting experts and engaging in the multitude of hands on activities was truly a unique and special experience. One of my favorite activities was assessing a habitat to see if it would be suitable for Ruffed Grouse. It was a great way to see first hand what aspects of an area make a good habitat or need improvement.
If it had not been for the students and donors that Paid It Forward in previous years, I would not have been able to attend this camp! I am so grateful for the opportunity and would love to help give back so that others can experience it to.
Thank you for helping me in Paying it Forward! ~ Eva
