Hi, my name is Faryn Steckiel and I am a Conservation Ambassador and want to Pay It Forward to the Next Generation of Conservation Leaders!
MY FUNDRAISING GOAL – $500
MY WLA STORY + WHY I WANT TO PAY IT FORWARD
After reflecting on my time spent at the Drummers field school, I can say with confidence that it changed my life forever. I loved learning about habitat management and meeting all the experts. This experience has presented me with more information than I could ever ask for! Most notably, I how to identify plants. I’ve always loved them, but never bothered to learn the names! Now I can’t get enough of it. My peers were also incredibly knowledgeable and taught me so much about birds I never would have known before. It was a truly unforgettable experience.
If it weren’t for the Pay It Forward program, I never would have had this opportunity. Attending the Wildlife Leadership Academy has enhanced my love for conservation and has brought me even closer to the natural world.
Thank you for helping me in Paying it Forward! ~ Faryn
