Ensuring Success

The structure and support of the Wildlife Leadership Academy as we grow over the next three years will ensure the success of our students as they move from high school to college to career.

Students complete this program with extensive knowledge about wildlife and conservation, with leadership and communication skills and become a certified Conservation Ambassador.

As graduates of the Wildlife Leadership Academy, students receive:

A letter of recommendation for college applications.
An official document that acknowledges their time spent on community outreach.
A certificate that designates the student as a Conservation Ambassador.

PLUS, students are eligible to:

To receive 3 college credits form Cedar Crest College (additional cost).
Apply to return to the program the following year as a youth mentor tuition free.
Attend a professional wildlife or fisheries conference.
Compete for college scholarships.
Attend college visit days to schools that have wildlife and conservation programs.
Join an Academy Alumni Network of over 100+ wildlife, fisheries, and conservation professionals.
