Check in at the registration table with Academy staff. They will direct you to your cabin where you may unload your bags.
Return to the main classroom space at 11:00 AM for Welcome and Orientation.
Parents, please plan to attend this meeting and to depart at 11:40 AM (before lunch)

Gobblers Field School Location: Stone Valley Recreation Area
Stone Valley Recreation Area is located 17 miles from State College, PA. The field school classes will be at the Civil Engineering (C.E.) Lodge; this is also the location of the residential cabins.
The address below (for your GPS) will get you to the area, but will take you to the East Entrance- NOTE: YOU WANT TO TAKE THE WEST ENTRANCE which leads to the C.E. Lodge. It will depend on the direction you are coming from on which entrance you pass first.
The mission of the Wildlife Leadership Academy is to engage and empower high school age youth to become Conservation Ambassadors to ensure a sustained wildlife, fisheries and natural resource legacy for future generations. The Academy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a cooperative initiative involving state agencies and conservation organizations.
