Hi, My name is Jane Buck and I am a Conservation Ambassador and want to Pay It Forward to the Next Generation of Conservation Leaders!
MY FUNDRAISING GOAL – $500
Goal Update: $100 of $500 raised
WHY I WANT TO PAY IT FORWARD
I attended the PA Bucktails field school this last summer and had an amazing experience. We learned from some of the best instructors in the state about white-tailed deer and their management. My favorite part of the field school was learning to identify plants. I didn’t think this is something I would be passionate about but it really piqued my interest! So much so that for part of my outreach, I created a my own plant collection at home. I also gave several educational talks about my experience at the local QDMA chapter and in my biology class. I am hoping to participate in some service work this spring!
I want to Pay it Forward because I want another kid to be able to have the same opportunity that I did!
Below is a slide show of some of my favorite parts of field school!
Learning how to age deer by looking at their jaw bone.
Learning about habitat in the field!
Learning how to communicate through team building!
