Hi, my name is Jonathan Simak and I am a Conservation Ambassador and want to Pay It Forward to the Next Generation of Conservation Leaders!
MY FUNDRAISING GOAL – $250
Goal Update: $100 of $250 raised !!
MY WLA STORY + WHY I WANT TO PAY IT FORWARD
Since my first fishing experience years ago, I have known that I want to work in fisheries or any field related to fish, fishing, wildlife biology or environmental science. Because of the Bass Field School, I have much better idea what I can do in my future career but also what can be done right now in the field of conservation. Thanks to the great instructors, I learned a lot about fish biology, ecology, habitat management and also about the importance of using media to help conservation. I also improved my wildlife photography skills so I can do much better fish pictures now.
The Wildlife Leadership Academy is a great place for anyone who likes outdoors and wants to know more about wildlife and what can be done to protect it. In just one week of the Field School, much better understanding of conservation and environmental issues can be gained.
Thank you for helping me in Paying it Forward! ~ Jonathan
Below is a slide show of some of my favorite parts of field school!
