The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is looking to hire a Forest Technician. Your main responsibilities will involve aiding the forester or crew leader in adhering to forest inventory sampling protocols outlined in field manuals created by the resource inventory and monitoring section to gather data essential for monitoring the state forest lands’ condition, growth, and health. Moreover, you will offer support for various program areas within the Bureau of Forestry and help with forest health, forest management, ecological services, forest fire protection, and other tasks as required.
