Tuesday June 26, 10:00 AM

  • Check in at the registration table with Academy staff. They will direct you to your cabin where you may unload your bags.
  • Return to the main classroom space at 11:00 AM for Welcome and Orientation.
  •  Parents, please plan to attend this meeting and to depart at 11:40 AM (before lunch)

Pick up:

Saturday June 30, 1:30 PM

  • Parents should plan to arrive at 1:30 PM (after lunch)
  • 2:30 PM Closing Ceremonies (for youth and parents)
  • 4:00 PM approximate time of departure

Bass Field School Location: Camp Oak Hill in southern Lancaster County

ADDRESS: 53 Camp Road, Nottingham, PA 19362

Driving Directions:

From Harrisburg Area/through Lancaster

  • From I-283 N (PA Turnpike), keep left at fork to continue on I-283 S
  • Take Exit 1A to merge onto PA 283 E (28.7 mi)
  • Take the Fruitville Pike N exit, TURN RIGHT at bottom of ramp, follow Fruitville Pike 1.1 mi
  • Continue onto PA 72 S/N Prince S (2.3 mi)
  • Continue onto US 222s/Willow St Pike (2.8 mi)
  • Continue to follow PA 272 S for 15.7 mi
  • Slight right onto US 222S for 0.5 mi
  • Turn left in Wakefield, stay on PA 272 (4.9 mi)
  • Turn left onto King Pen Rd, then bear right onto Lloyd’s Rd


From Philadelphia

Rt 1 S to Rt 272 Exit:

  • Turn Right off exit ramp onto 272 N (3 mi)
  • Turn right onto Pine Grove Rd , bear left until it turns into Camp Rd


I 95 S to Exit 3A , RT 322 W towards Chester, PA (7.2 mi):

  • Left onto RT 1 S to RT 272 for 29.5 mi
  • Turn right off exit ramp into 272 N for 29.5 mi
  • Turn right onto Pine Grove Rd , bear left until it turns into Camp Rd

Any youth who does not have a license at camp will be covered under our group fishing permit.

However, we encourage all students over the age of 16 to purchase a fishing license for field school. You may purchase one at a local issuing agent, or online at http://fishandboat.com/license.htm
