The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is looking to hire a Fire Forester. In this position, you will oversee the Fire Management Program for the District and engage in the management of State Forest Resources, adhering to the Forest Resource Plans, Timber Management Operating Manual, and relevant Commonwealth laws. All operations must align with the policies and procedures set forth by the Forest District Manager. While the majority of your work will focus on the District’s Fire Program, you will also prioritize other assigned tasks, such as Timber Management and Search & Rescue, as required or instructed.
