Environmental Education Specialist – Cowans Gap State Park Complex

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is looking to hire an Environmental Education Specialist to work at the Cowans Gap State Park Complex. As an Environmental Education Specialist, your role will encompass the comprehensive management of environmental education, recreational activities, and interpretive programs at Cowans Gap State Park Complex. You will take charge of the strategic planning, development, organization, and execution of educational initiatives that focus on both environmental and historical themes, catering to a diverse range of visitor groups. The programs you design may include guided nature walks, multimedia presentations, informative tours, outdoor recreational activities, and hands-on field learning experiences, all aligned with state-established themes that highlight natural history, significant cultural events, and pressing environmental issues.
