Level up with the Wildlife Leadership Academy through the Apprentice Program! Apprentices come back to a field school and take on new challenges, build valuable skills, and grow as conservation leaders.
Below are a few highlights of the Apprentice Program.
EXCLUSIVE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES
Participate in advanced training, field trips, and conservation career focused workshops designed specifically for Apprentices.
BEHIND-THE-SCENES OPERATIONS
Throughout the week you will have the opportunity to learn the behind-the-scenes of field school while being mentored by the summer staff.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Build on what your learned at field school and dive deeper through hands-on experiences that prepare you to guide and inspire others.
RECONNECT WITH YOUR PEERS
Returning to field school is a great time to reconnect with your peers and learn about what they have been up to. Remember these folks could be your future colleagues!
2025 APPRENTICE PROGRAM DATES
The Apprentice Program runs parallel to our summer field schools. Apprentices arrive to field school the day before students to receive training and prepare for the week. Please note, to give you the best possible experience, Apprentice positions are limited to 5 per field school.
