The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is looking to hire a Forest Technician in the Rothrock Forest District. As the Forest Technician, you will provide technical forestry assistance to the foresters in the district. Your focus will be on various program areas such as timber management, forest recreation, invasive species management, forest regeneration, and forest insect and disease control. You will also assist with rural and community forestry programs in Centre and Huntingdon Counties.

Fish Culturist

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is hiring a Fish Culturist at the Benner Spring Fish Hatchery. In this position you will learn how to collect and select brood stock while handling the fish in a manner that minimizes stress, injury and mortality. You will learn to operate a fish stocking vehicle in a safe and timely manner, load and transport fish, monitor fish, take appropriate action to deliver the fish in excellent condition, and perform repairs and maintenance to buildings, equipment, and grounds.
