Forest Health Geneticist

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is looking for a Forest Health Geneticist. As a Forest Health Geneticist, you will plan, organize, and direct a statewide program for large-scale breeding and selection projects designed to sustain and improve the overall quality of commonwealth forests. Duties will include formulating departmental policy and develop management plans to address forest genetics, tree breeding, and forest improvement programs, as well as maintaining, updating, and implementing the Strategy for Maintaining & Enhancing Natural Genetic Diversity of Plant Populations on Pennsylvania State Forest Land.
