DCNR Ranger Trainee – Memorial Lake State Park Complex

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is looking to hire a Ranger Trainee to work in the Memorial Lake State Park Complex. In this role, you will undergo a comprehensive training program that combines formal instruction with practical experience. The training will focus on developing your skills in public interaction, customer service, outdoor recreation, conservation, environmental education, and law enforcement. Your responsibilities will include conducting park patrols, addressing safety concerns, assisting park visitors, enforcing laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will be involved in issuing permits, collecting fees, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
