DCNR Park Resource Ranger – Pymatuning State Park

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Park Resource Ranger at Pymatuning State Park. The role involves engaging in technical public safety tasks and enforcing park regulations to ensure the safe use of recreational facilities at Pymatuning State Park. The responsibilities of this position are carried out on a regular basis, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, in order to support park operations and cater to seasonal demands. Additionally, the position involves providing environmental interpretation and taking necessary measures to address both routine and emergency situations. Furthermore, the incumbent is responsible for alerting park visitors about potentially dangerous weather conditions, road conditions, or any other unsafe areas within the park premises.
