The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Ranger at Frances Slocum State Park. The DCNR Ranger is responsible for a range of duties including public safety, facilities protection, visitor service, and law enforcement at Frances Slocum State Park, supervised by the Park Manager. Additionally, you will patrol the park by vehicle, foot, and boat to identify and address any issues that may endanger visitors. You will be responsible to conduct safety inspections of park buildings, facilities, and grounds, promptly addressing any hazards and informing the supervisor. You will monitor visitor activities to ensure proper facility use, secure buildings and equipment against vandalism and theft, and manage park gate openings and closures in accordance with operating hours.
