The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is hiring a Fish Culturist to work at the Benner Spring State Fish Hatchery. In this Fish Culturist position, you will spend the season learning how to collect and select brood stock while handling the fish in a manner that minimizes stress, injury, and mortality. This includes learning to operate a fish stocking vehicle in a safe and timely manner, load and transport fish, monitor fish, and take appropriate action to deliver the fish in excellent condition, as well as perform repairs and maintenance to buildings, equipment, and grounds.
