The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Ranger to work in the Buchanan Forest District. As a DCNR Ranger, your main responsibility will be to patrol the Buchanan Forest District using various modes of transportation such as motor vehicles, bicycles, or on foot. Your goal is to observe visitor activities and ensure their safety. This may require you to navigate through rough and uneven terrains and work in harsh weather conditions. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting buildings and facilities for security, maintaining signs and posters, and keeping your assigned equipment and work areas clean.
