The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is hiring a Fish Culturist to work at the Pleasant Mount State Fish Hatchery. In this position you will learn how to collect and select brood stock while handling the fish in a manner that minimizes stress, injury, and mortality. You will learn to operate a fish stocking vehicle in a safe and timely manner, load and transport fish, monitor fish, and take appropriate action to deliver the fish in excellent condition. You will have the opportunity to perform repairs and maintenance to buildings, equipment, and grounds.
