The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) has an opportunity available for a seasonal full-time DCNR Ranger Trainee position. The role entails engaging in a comprehensive one-year formal and on-the-job training program aimed at honing the essential skills and techniques required in the domains of public interaction and customer service, staying abreast of the latest developments and challenges in outdoor recreation and conservation, understanding conservation principles, environmental education, public safety protocols, Departmental policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, as well as law enforcement practices, all of which are crucial for effectively carrying out the responsibilities of a DCNR Ranger.
