The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is hiring a Fish Culturist. As a Fish Culturist, you will assist in the propagation, care, and stocking of fish species in numbers sufficient to meet fisheries management goals toward enhancement of fishing opportunities for the general public.  This profession also involves general maintenance and repairs for various buildings, equipment, and grounds to maximize and sustain fishery management goals.  Within this role, you will learn how to collect and select brood stock while handling the fish in a manner that minimizes stress, injury, and mortality.  This is an exciting opportunity to learn to operate a fish stocking vehicle in a safe and timely manner, load and transport fish, monitor fish, and take appropriate action to deliver fish in excellent condition.
