The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hire a Forest Inventory Forester. In this position, you will be responsible for forest inventory field and office work in the northern third of the state. Work is completed following forest inventory sampling protocols in order to collect the information necessary to monitor the condition, growth, and health of State Forest Lands. You will establish new and remeasure existing inventory plots and operate electronic equipment to manage inventory, as well as assist in the development and implementation of procedures, standards, and formats to manage forest ground flora inventory data and samples.
