The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is looking to hire a Licensed Professional Geologist. Proficient understanding of Act 2 regulations is a necessity for this role, along with knowledge of State and Federal regulatory programs due to cross-program collaboration on contaminated sites. Advanced knowledge and application of hydrogeologic and geologic principles are essential for environmental protection. You must be able to address complex contamination issues in various geologic settings and offer independent professional opinions. Additionally, providing professional support to staff, both within and outside the program, is a key aspect of this position.
