The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Service Forester to work in the Clear Creek Forest District. This role is a professional forestry position located in the Clear Creek Forest District. Your primary responsibility is to offer technical support, information, and education to private forest landowners in Armstrong, Clarion, and Jefferson Counties or Lawrence and Mercer Counties. Additionally, you would establish partnerships and foster relationships with local communities, other governmental agencies, and non-governmental organizations within the designated program area. Other responsibilities will include assisting with wildfire suppression, state forest management, and forest pest management.
