The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Forester to work in the Susquehannock Forest District. This role operates as a Forester tasked with overseeing the management of the State Forest Resources within the District, ensuring compliance with the Forest Resource Plans, Timber Management Operating Manual, and relevant Commonwealth laws. While the primary emphasis of this position is on timber management, it will also prioritize various other responsibilities, including Search & Rescue operations, fire suppression efforts, wildlife habitat enhancement projects, and initiatives aimed at preventing insect infestations and diseases.
