Frequently Asked Questions

Does Pay It Forward count as outreach?

Yes! your fundraising efforts count as outreach! Participating in Pay It Forward allows you to earn 10 outreach points for every hour you work on your campaign. This covers everything from attending Zoom sessions to sending text messages and writing letters.

How much do I need to raise?

Our goal as a team is to raise $30,000, but you set your own fundraising goal! Remember, this can be as laid back as you want! This is YOUR campaign. So try new things, talk to new people, and have fun!

Who should I ask to donate to my campaign?

You should start by asking friends and family who know about your passion for conservation. Local businesses are also great potential donors (don't forget to remind them that their donation is tax deductible). You can also reach out to community organizations and clubs who share a commitment to wildlife and conservation. Personal connections are key, so think about people in your network who would be supportive of your Pay It Forward efforts!

When will my goal be updated on my donation page?

While your personal donation page doesn't automatically reflect new donations, we will update the totals on your page when you receive an email notification about your goal!

I didn't make a donation page. Can my donors still give online?

Yes! Donors can contribute to Pay It Forward online at https://wildlifeleadershipacademy.org/support/
