The Xu Lab in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to work on non-destructively monitoring forest biomass and improving our understanding of tree ecophysiology and sustainable forestry using terrestrial lidar scanner (TLS). The position expects candidates with a Ph.D. in relevant disciplines (forest ecology, remote sensing, computer science, plant ecophysiology, etc.). Previous experiences with lidar are preferred but not required. The position is expected to start in October/November of 2021.
