The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Forester. Your main responsibility involves supporting the management of woodlands, water resources, wildlife, and recreational activities within Delaware State Forest. You will offer technical guidance for private forest management and help in identifying, surveying, and controlling forest pests on both public and private properties. Furthermore, you will contribute to forest fire prevention and suppression efforts in the area, while also providing technical support, information, and knowledge to various agencies and the public.
