The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is hiring multiple Biological Science Technicians to work in Rutland, Washington, Chittenden, and/or Orleans counties in Vermont. In this position, you will assist the District Supervisor and staff Biologist with administering an integrated wildlife damage management program to resolve a wide spectrum of wildlife conflicts related to bears, birds (Canada goose, turkey, gulls), and threats to human safety. You will help collect disease samples and provide technical assistance. You’ll also assist with data management, record keeping, data entry, field activities, and other office duties.
