Environmental Education Specialist – Little Buffalo State Park

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring an Environmental Education Specialist at Little Buffalo State Park. The role involves carrying out professional tasks related to the creation and delivery of educational programs and activities centered around the environment, history, and culture at Little Buffalo State Park. This includes planning, developing, coordinating, and presenting various educational and interpretive programs that focus on the park’s environmental and historical aspects. The responsibilities encompass all stages of program development, from creating lesson plans and scheduling to implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the effectiveness of the programs. Additionally, the position involves facilitating educational activities through interactive learning experiences, audiovisual presentations, workshops for teachers, and other programs that promote environmental and historical learning.
