Environmental Education Specialist

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring an Environmental Education Specialist. As an Environmental Education Specialist, your responsibilities will include implementing and coordinating environmental interpretive programs, trainings, outdoor education programs, information services, and public relations. These initiatives will be targeted towards recreational users, organized user groups, local, county, and municipal governments, and other interest groups. Additionally, you will perform technical work in the field of environmental interpretation and outdoor recreation. You will conduct learning activities, audiovisual presentations, teacher workshops, and other environmental learning programs, as well as provide assistance to educational institutions, civic groups, and public organizations in developing and implementing environmental education and interpretive programs.
