The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Park Resource Ranger at Cowans Gap State Park Complex. As a Park Resource Ranger, your responsibilities include engaging with the public and ensuring their safety within State Park premises to encourage the safe use of park facilities. You will conduct patrols on foot, bike, boat, and motor vehicle to maintain a secure environment for visitors. Regular inspections of buildings, structures, and facilities will be carried out to guarantee security and safety measures are in place. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining informational materials such as posters, bulletin boards, signs, park maps, and brochures to enhance visitor experience. Lastly, you will be tasked with keeping assigned equipment and work areas clean and organized.
