Delaware Nature Society (DelNature) is seeking a Director of Advocacy. The Director of Advocacy directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of Delaware Nature Society’s environmental advocacy efforts in collaboration with the conservation experts, policymakers, key stakeholders, and the Advocacy Committee. This includes establishing and maintaining effective relationships with elected and appointed officials, local and regional reporters, and other news media, industry, local/national environmental groups, and other collaborating organizations, in a collaborative effort to advocate and promote the protection and improvement of our environment. Effective advocacy strategies also aim to build strong relationships with the people and communities we serve, grow grassroots advocacy campaigns, program participation, and financial support.

Education and Engagement Assistant

Assistant Camp Director

The Maria Mitchell Association is seeking an Assistant Camp Director. The Assistant Camp Director will help coordinate and facilitate training for the Discovery Camp’s Environmental Education (EE) Instructors, assist in the daily operations, supervision, camper success, and instructor support. Additionally, they will provide waterfront supervision, serve as the primary lifeguard during waterfront camp activities, ensure that EE instructors are following camp rules and regulations, assemble camper registration/health forms each week, help with lesson plan development and share their passions for curriculum, inventory equipment, identify emerging needs, and assist the Camp Director in other operations as necessary.
