As a DCNR Ranger, your main responsibility will be to patrol the Buchanan Forest District using various modes of transportation such as motor vehicles, bicycles, or on foot. Your goal is to observe visitor activities and ensure their safety. This may require you to navigate through rough and uneven terrains and work in harsh weather conditions. Field Mapping Senior Geoscientist

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is looking to hire a Field Mapping Senior Geoscientist. The main responsibility of this position is to collect and disseminate geological information about the geology of the Commonwealth. You will be involved in measuring, describing, sampling, and correlating stratigraphic sections, creating precise geological maps, and gathering data on different geological features. Furthermore, you will be writing scientific reposts based on your finings for publishing through the survey or through other geologic publications. To accomplish these tasks, you will make use of GIS, geologic based laboratory tests,  geophysical equipment, and remote-sensing media to assist in mapping and compiling data.

Fish Culturist – Benner Spring
