The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Park Resource Ranger at Codorus State Park. In the role of a DCNR Park Resource Ranger, responsibilities include ensuring public safety within Codorus State Park Complex. You will meet with park visitors to answer questions regarding park facilities, recreational schedules, park history, and surrounding area. Additionally, you will patrol the park area by various motorized vehicles, bicycle, and on foot. Responsibilities will include explaining park rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to park visitors and special interest groups. You will inform Park Manager or DCNR Ranger if visitor actions require law enforcement actions. You will also administer first aid to injured park visitors.
