The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Forester to work in the Forbes Forest District. Your role will involve supporting district managers in the creation, organization, execution, and assessment of recreational programs to guarantee the safe utilization of forest resources in the Forbes Forest District. Additionally, you will work closely with different recreational user groups, associations, and Forest District personnel to enrich recreational facilities. Your duties will include overseeing volunteer initiatives aimed at enhancing recreational infrastructure and streamlining event coordination. You will have the task of evaluating and upkeeping recreation facilities, such as trails, signs, and safety measures. You will coordinate initiatives to tackle safety issues, restore existing infrastructure, and promote the recreational use of the state forest.
