Forest District Manager – William Penn Forest District

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is hiring a Forest District Manager. As the Forest District Manager, you are expected to have skills and experience as a leader, a professional forester, and as a natural resource manager. You will be responsible for providing planning, management, direction, coordination, and leadership in the Forest District. You will interact and cooperate with surrounding forest district managers, other natural resource management agencies, county and local governments, and other stakeholders located within the forest district. You will implement the bureau’s strategic, management, and other appropriate plans, as well as determine and monitor the district’s internal structure, ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, you will develop program objectives for your district, plan the district’s operating budget, and delegate responsibility to the staff you supervise.
