Cedar Crest College Credits
The Wildlife Leadership Academy works with Cedar Crest College to offer three (3) college credits to participants who attend field school and fulfill all the necessary requirements. In order to obtain these credits, participants must:
- Check the “yes” box during registration, indicating that you are interested in the credits
- Attend the full duration of field school
- Complete the pre- and post-tests and daily quizzes (conducted at the field school)
- Submit the College Credit Registration Form AND payment after field school (we will follow up with you)
In order to seek college credit, you must return the College Credit Registration Form and payment by the due date. If this form and tuition payment to Cedar Crest College is not received, you will not receive your transcript for college credits.
Act 48 Credits
The Academy offers Act 48 credit hours for Adult Mentors who attend field school and fulfill all the necessary requirements. In order to obtain these credits, Adult Mentors must:
- Check the “yes” box during registration, indicating that you are interested in the credits
- Attend the full duration of field school
- Complete the pre- and post-tests and daily quizzes (conducted at the field school)
- Compose and send a lesson plan with the incorporated class activities to the directors (click here to view a lesson plan example)
