The PA Brookies students just finished “reeling” in an incredible week, and we couldn’t be more proud of them. This week, the students engaged with professionals and immersed themselves in brook trout biology, stream ecology, habitat, watersheds, and cold-water fisheries conservation. This week’s blog was written in 2018 by Sean, a Drummers alum. Sean works for the Pennsylvania Game Commission as a State Game Warden. He graduated from Penn State with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. In this flashback blog, Sean writes about his summer experience with the South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks as a Big Game Research Intern.
As the year draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the many milestones and accomplishments of 2024. It has been an incredible year of growth for the Wildlife Leadership Academy, and we are excited to share the highlights with you!

She graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University in May with a double degree in Biology and Earth & Environmental Science. Erika currently pursuing jobs in studying or managing natural resources.
