A key component of Conservation Ambassador Training is the community outreach that takes place after students attend a summer field school. Jake S., a Bass alum and passionate outdoorsman, has been making significant strides in conservation and outdoor education since his time at field school last June. His commitment to environmental stewardship and fostering a love for nature among his peers is remarkable. Lily is active in her community as she holds a student position on her township’s Environmental Quality Board, serves as the president of the Horticulture Club, and is a member of the SAFE Club (Students Active For the Environment). She plans to attend college after high school and pursue a career in conservation law enforcement, education, or architecture.
